Very nice, Wanda, the single ray of sun really complements the landscape. It's a kind of mysterious, otherworldly place, and the ray of sun fits with that. The sky and foreground are kind of blank, though, so you might consider cropping to make a panoramic view. Or you could have included some rocks or something like that in the close foreground. But it's a beautiful shot! Regards, Ken.

Hello Wanda,
In a Moon-landscape type of setting you've captured a magnificent sunburst effect. A very nice photo to post on the first day of the year. Happy New Year!
Greetings from Virginia,
Bulent

Hi Wanda,
excellent light management. Wonderful seen and captured by you. A flash of interest and brightness inside a strange scenery.
Cheers, Ulf

Great rays of light in this quite desertic landscape. Very good light management.

I like how you caught the sunlight bursting through that gap in the clouds, although I do wish that you had managed to reduce the brightness of the sky. An ND grad filter would have worked wonders here, and a darker sky would have made this even more atmospheric.
I like this though; it captures the bleak grandeur of this amazing landscape.

Cheers,
Ben

Hi Wanda,
Excelent compo using the landscape, the cloudy sky and that amazing light. I think you managed a good light control considering the situation. Ken is right about the crop, a more panoramic view would be punchier, but actually I think I prefer it like it is, as one of the intriguing features of the photo is all that flat land that makes the mountains look rather low - I imagine that it is much of an illusion.
Happy 2007 to you.
Tfs, Regards.

Almost feels like an angel has landed in this remote landscape of the cold Indian desert. You've captured it very well the lights coming from within the clouds has been captured well in time and very beautfiully. Great work done.

Hi Wanda,
The desolate landscape with its empty expanse and rugged mountain range are quite a contrast to that burst of sun rays frm the sky.A lovely effect you have captured here. The colour and clarity are good.Well done and enjoy your weekend.
Regards, David
