Photographer’s Note

One fine day, I just went into a school located near my place.

Around 900 students go to this government funded/run school. Even i studied at a govt.run school at my village during 1982-1988 and the only difference I saw between these two schools is the uniforms they are wearing and ready to break benches and tables.

There was absolutely no change in terms of infrastructure, library, drinking water provision, and some of the basic infra.

Each class on an average holds around 120 students in this school. situated just besides a drinage lane, there are too many mosquitos coming into the school premises through open/broken windows. When it rains, water comes in from the open/broken windows and poor roof/ceiling.

I dont know how to raise funds for hundreds of these kinds of schools around but at least i can do something for this school to start with. When i look at these bright faces, in hope of great future, i feel so bad and sad. there should be some way to raise funds or do something about this.

nice ... but it´s a bit too dark (the face of the boy in the back is almost invisible), and why did you crop the head of the boy in the left?

Nice photograph....I might like to see this one with a slightly lower POV to get the background you have a bit differently....I know it is easier said than done with a lot of kids around.

The crop on the left seems ok to me but you might think about cropping the top down to the top of the back left boy's head to see how you like it.

Photographers notes would also be nice. Who are these people? Do you know them?...stuff like that.

Great moment, and nice choice of B&W. I'd crop this differently...probably cut out some of the right/top and leave in the boy on the left. The boy in the white shirt on the right is charming. :)
