I agree with everyone who has written so far. The main subject it wonderfully shot but the background seems anachronistic. He looks too young or too modern somehow to be in the same frame with the main subject.
Excellent portrait though.

This is a lovely shot. I don't mind the young fellow in, however I do think you have not given enough space above his head, prehapsd a portrait not landscape would have been better.

What an interesting face this man has! I am more interested in the face than the details of how to make it a better portrait (see other comments). One can do nothing with cropping and flipping unless one sees and takes the picture in the first place. Very well captured Robb.
