These succulents green something taste good on toast and soda biscuit in the morning only. They taste better with a lot of coffee if not ripe, I presume.
However FORJP001 does'nt know what they are nor what they taste but he drinks a lot of coffee...

What you came across here is called KANKROL. I searched for its English name but couldn't find one. It is a lot like bitter gourd but not exactly in the same category, it is not that bitter but looks somewhat similar and grows under identical climatic conditions. Though it is a fruit, it is basically used as a vegetable and is popular in Eastern part of India and Bangladesh.
