Photographer's Note
Cow (and I assume camel & elephant) patties are dried at the side of the road and then, I presume, used for fuel or building materials. Good thing this stuff is valuable, otherwise it would be left on the roads under foot!
You would think there would be a cloud of flies hanging around such places but I didn't see any.
I grabbed this shot from the back of an auto-rickshaw while it was in motion so I couldn't take time to compose the shot.

Only bigger , rounder, funkier in smell, ecological ( 'cept for the liberated methane during production ) and you own the factory...

I'd be grabbing patties for my garden. ;) Once they dry, the flies lose interest. This is a neat photo showing something only an outsider would probably even notice.
