Photographer’s Note
This was shot in Black and white film (ilford HP5 ASA 400) during my visit to Rajasthan, India. The choice of balck and white was mainly due of the summer weather where colours of the sky was parctically greyish and hazy. The summer heat of 40 degree celcious was unbearable and the best choice left would be to do the shooting in black and white as it would deliver interesting contrast as compare and oppose to shooting in colour slide. I hope you like the persepctive of this entrance frame. The Indian lady purposely asked to squat here was my intention to indicate and portray a sense of the Indian culture on the enrance of this historical architecture. I hope you lke it.
