Photographer’s Note
For those of you who don't understand Finnish, the title of my photo roughly translates to "Ready Steady Go" I thought this was the appropriate title for photo that I was posting today as I intend to leave for India this weekend. Yes I am ready, I am steady and I am ready to go. If interested, you can keep track of me in India, through my blogs
About this photo, it was taken in Garhwal Himalayas after trekking for 3 hours, pretty close to Dodi Tal (Lake)
Enjoy !!!

Have a good tour in India! Enjoy!
Beautiful shot, I like the light in the foreground and the shadow on the far mountain.
Bravo!

Hi Sarju
a nice view on 3 plans, suny, shady and sky, a bit faded due to the camera.
Have a fine trip and do not waste time in editing while travelling, time enough when you come back.
Bon voyage

:) sweet picture! Lovely three levels!
However I have to say that having the person smack in the middle was perhaps not the best of all possible ideas.... it would have been nice to see a bit more of what is going on on the right as the slope continues on down...
The image is also over-exposed in the FG with the grass coming off as just white noise of sorts..
But a lovely sight into the high mountains and the feeling there :D
I hope you have a lovely trip and wish I could be there with you!!!!!!
All the best and much more!

Hi Sarju, I recognise you, the one who gets the chance to make fabulous treks!
This mountain top is very nice with the clouds in the bg bringing nice colours to these almost monochromatic image. The shadows are not too strong in the mountain, we can see details.
In the fg, it is a bit overexposed though.
Nice photo to say bye bye and I will be looking forward to your work in India.
Have a good trip and take care! Yan :)

Hi Sarju,
I just had to comment on this one. Not only because the title is Finnish but due to my today's upload too.
Fascinating landscape. I agree with Julia about girl's position. But apart from that the composition of contours and slopes is very pleasant. Quite special colours here. Even if they woudn't be quite exact after scan process I wouldn't know it, never seen such vegetation.
(Yes, spelling of the title is correct.)

nice shot with golden foreground. Your landscape has layers and every layer with different color is making it splendid. Thanks for sharing.

Olá outra vez, Sarju. Another post!?? I thought you hadn't time man! You know that I love these impressives landscapes. I like the balance and contrast of the three stripes here: the yellow/brown in FG, the dark mountains and the clouds in the BG. The human element is an interesting addition, although it would be nicer if he was treking, instead of posing.
Again, go for the too many hours of flight, mate.
Cheers,
Ricardo
