Photographer’s Note
For today, It will be a classic view of Chandra Tal.
Chandra = "Moon" & Tal = "Lake"
I plan to visit this place again this year in September on my trekking trips to Indian Himalayas, so i was feeling a bit nostalgic and dugged up this photo from 1998.
Continuing with my dedications that I started in mid Feb, but have posted only something like only 4-5 photos since than, I would like to dedicate this photo to Ricardo Lopes. I have always valued the feedback of his in-depth critiques. This photo is for you bro, this is especially for encouraging me on my photos from treks in India, something that I always valued a lot deep inside.

Beautiful landscape, Sarju, something I've never seen before... And you will see it again soon, can I join you?.. I wonder how this place will look like with a new digital technique. Very well composed and thank you for sharing this special memory of yours.

Olá Sarju,
This was a pleasant double surprise!
I thought that you hadn't time for more posts, but I guess that I was wrong...Thank you so much for dedication, mate. I'm mostly apreciated.
You know that I really love these landscapes and you got a pretty good result from the recover of an old image. The colors and reflections on the lake are quite attractive and I can almost see a group of trekers in the other side of the lake (some dark spots at left, on the margin). Even if I'm wrong I'd like to picture that image. Good frame with the margin in foreground.
See you there mate. We can meet in this lake, even if it'll be in my dreams...
All the best,
Ricardo

Hi Sarju,
One of the most beautiful places of our country.
These are the kind of mountains which as young student we would draw and colour.
Nice frame too.

Rajeev

Hi Sarju,
Well composed with really interesting hues. Despite the high elevation, the shot casts an aura of warmth and tranquillity. I like also how the hues and tones of the water changes from this angle. Just enough foreground here. Well captured.

Hi Sarju
nice picture, I like the colors and reflection in this, there seems to be some noise in the sky but that is ok.
Good job

Hi Sarju
Nice view with this silky reflection. It looks almost metallic in appearance and is delicate and well balanced with the mountain ranges. Good range of warm colours and nice details. Well done.

Hi Sarju
I am a fan of your Himalayan pictures as they show a region that is rarely shown, another look of India, one that is shown with love and affection.
Quite an arid place shown in a,dramatic way, should I say, that gives a good impression of great height.
I can not wait to see your new pictures of your country, now that you have a solid background in photo.
Wish you a good trip
Take care

Dramatic landscape. A bit grainy but awesome place to see. How come I don't see any trees around?

Hi Sarju. I like the colours in this, and the contrast between the beautiful sky and the earthy brown of the mountains, and I like the composition too, but this photograph has a lot more potential with a little PP. It looks tilted to the right, and needs aharpening and more contrast to bring out its full impact. I've done a workshop and I think you will see a noticeable difference between the two. Cheers . . . David
