Photographer’s Note
A very nostalggic flower I like to have in my garden, a very much medicinal.
I found her with her Hybrid sister side by side...

Hi Premanad, good shot, with amazing colours and light. the only thing that i don't like so much is the composition.
the blue flower should be better composed on one of the sides and not exactley on the middle. also a little bit more of light should be more interesting to have a strong contrast between the flower on the foreground and the white/green background.
in any case, a wonderful flower and a beautiful shot.
thanks, ciao

Hi Prem
Nice to see your post again. And I see there's been improvement in your recent post, huh. Congrats!
Turning into naturalist photographer is one good idea, rather than sticking to the same subjects or mitives. A photographer needs to be diversified in many field of photography. One field is the nature.
It's not the same thing you see everyday, so, photography of nature elements are one meaning of "preserving" it into archives of image.
The sharpness and clarity of this flower is very good and the color, well, likewise all TE members have mentioned, just vivid and strong.
Congrats on your improvement, pal, and hope to see more from you again.

Hi Premanand
The new camera provides a good quality.
If I can allow me to suggest something it is not to center the main subject; except in few situations.
Try to drive the eyes to the main element by your composition, the subject is almost always stronger when it is not centered.
Have a good day

Hi Premanand!
A nice close up of that flower, very beautiful colors, and good Dof to create a BG bokeh... Nice contrast too
As paolo says it could be placed elsewhere buti like it that way as well.. i too tend to center my subjects.. sometimes it works

Hi Prem
I like the shot as there is a lot of capacity in it for playing around in postprocessing and the centering could become perfect then, I try a WS.

Hi Premanand:
I think the flower's botanical name is Clitoria purpurea. The color of the flowers is deep blue or purple. The color of the flower you have captured is not natural, it is a digital effect. Digital cameras fail to capture the deep blue or purple color, properly. Looks like there the color got saturated. You can avoid this problem by avoiding flash or taking the photograph with the flowers in the shade or under cloudy conditions.
This flower is also called as Shiva Linga pushpam.

Imam

Premananda ji, this is a magical shot.
Had the leaves in the backgound been fresh, this could be your masterpiece.

Very goodcapture Prem,
I actually have a similar one with me taken at Trichy. Excellent note.Great color saturation on the flower.
I also notice you also left the dries leaves to be in the frame naturally.
Nice one- Vikram

Beautiful flower. I remember this one. It gives lots of flowers. Pretty well sharpened. What I don't like is the dry leaves around the flower. that is slightly distracting. I also think you left too much leaves around. But that is my opinion. This brings back my childhood memories. I lived in Tirupur and my parents had several vines of this
