Good crop and angle, adding to the dynamism of this. And what an interesting TE shot, showing such an unusual instrument, like a minmi violin.
Nicely fille frame, Arnab, with a gentle dynamising tilt. Love the motion blur in the right hand. Excellent situational portrait.
May I say (again) that you are one the most accomplished photogs using a regular digicam.
Cheers,
Francis

Arnab da,
Nice capture. Very dynamic shot. It brought back my childhood memories also. I was so thrilled with the sound of this instrument that I bought many of those. But to my surprise, I found that I can not play the beautiful tunes that the salesman was playing, not even a good sound came out from my instrument. But that does not frustrated me, and I went on buying those from other salesman in different times. Finally I was so frustrated that I quit!!
But, it is a nostalgic capture, seeing the instrument again through your photo. Also those carts in the background that makes sound while running are so close to my heart in my childhood days!
Thanks for a post which is so nostalgic, at least for me.
Best regards,
sayan

Good one Arnab, is this typical to bengal? I dont remember having seen this. Good post.
Sunil
The 'eye-puller' here is his melancholic eyes, I can understand that you couldn't resist to buy this handicraft violin and how primitive they are made they mostly are masters in playing those.
Good to enclose other stuf of his salesware and turning your camera here gives the right feel of the crowd where you were picking him out.
Excellent radiating portrait with a story, Arnab

there are 3 interesting things that caught my eyes at first sight:the nice tilted format, the hopeful expression and the blurred hand full of dynamism. Very nice portrait. Best wishes!

Great image, Arnab.
This is yet another of your themes pictures focusing on the fast disappearing Indian traditions. In this age of Playstations, how long will these playthings of the past survive?
