Photographer’s Note

This is my lonely tent in a lovely remote valley of NW India.
When all mountain passes are open -from June to August- there is a curtain number of tourists here. Local buses and jeeps run exactly where my tent stands. 2-3 seasonal settlements are back to life. But now -
no road, villages are empty, and no people at all.

The April snow does not look heavy, but the sense of desolation yet peace is vibrant in this image.

Icredible feel of the cold barren mountain landscape, it makes you shiver imaging to be in the tent, al alone risking freezing. A really fine shot Olga, I never will go to such cold places, I prefer the heat :)).
