Cette jeune gitane est une reine dont je ne me lasse pas.
Alors je vous la montre sous toutes ses faces.
Toujours, elle a ce regard de fierté et de défi.
Toujours elle porte son enfant dans une infinie tendresse.
Toujours je reste fasciné.

Non non tu n'abuses pas avec un modele pareil!ce couple est touchant,les 2 profils bien decentrés,mais quelle qualité des details sur les bijoux les motifs..et les couleurs!c'est excellent,

A nice variantion to your recent one. This woman with her child is really worth taking more than one photo. I like colours here again, and even though the desert is not included, it's notable in her sight. Well done.

No need to apologize for this mini series. The perspectives are clear, crisp and above all, poignant. And the dignified caring of the woman for her child is portrayed against a background of harsh beauty and challenges of the surrounding terrain. I like the framing and cropping here. Lovely natural looking portrait of mother and child in their colourful clothes, against the sandy and pale blue backdrop. The expressions are captivating. I can only dream of being able to photograph people as naturally as you do.

Excellente photo ! Les deux modèles sont bien "capturés" avec une pose et une attitude intéressante. J'aime la manière dont la femme porte son enfant un peu en retrait, comme pour le protéger, le mettre à l'abris de ce qu'elle semble regarder...

Je viens de découvrir cette série et je dois dire que je suis émerveillé. Toutes ces couleurs sur fond de sable, le tout dans une lumière d'une douceur inattendue dans un désert nous en mettent plein les yeux. Un grand bravo.

In continuation of my earlier comment, Dr Bertrand.
Apparently, this woman with a babe in arms is on her way to some social function, maybe a wedding.
That is why she is "done-up", rather garishly in my opinion.
Rajasthan women look pretty to me when they are in their natural colours.
However, the portrait is excellent in terms of photo technicalities.

Bonjour Bertrand, je te salue sur cette photo, qui une nouvelle fois met en exergue tous tes talents d'artiste, de photographe mais pas seulement. Tes photos sont des oeuvres, tes notes sont un régal et j'ai montré à ma mère quelques photos de toi dont les fameuses "portraits du désert" avec cette déesse "si jeune et si mère" et elle était très émue. C'est une sacrée récompense de savoir que tes photos touchent à ce point.
Félicitations, elles sont sacrément pures tes photos.

I picked this one because of the very neutral but rich colours, and excellent sharpness.
And seeing this from a Powershot, than i have to admit that you control that camera very good.

Hi Bertrand--I like the way the woman and child are peering in parallel, as though trying to see their own future. The low POV adds to that feeling, as does the open space you allowed on the left side. Well done. Regards, Ken.

An interesting 'double profile' portrait, Bertrand, with excellent sharpness and saturation. Good framing/cropping and control of exposure in what looks like may have been quite harsh lighting conditions. Cheers . . . David
