In Panjim (Goa's capital city) municipal market... it was crowded, hot and humid, i was looking around for some shots, when around the corner i spotted that lady bathed in sunlight... i knew she was going to be on TE the day after...
She actually doest sell flowers but rather garlands that hindu Goan women always wear in the hair...

A fine natural looking daily life scene making her very beautiful in her environmemnt, I like your framing where the natural feel can pull you more in to the scene then a overcomposed isolation that would pull more attention to techniques in disfavor of the subject, a question of who you want to focus.

Laurent what makes this photo excellent is the side lighting aspect. There is alot of depth to the details because of sidelighting. Nice contrasting colors and very interesting cartoon details that are partially stuck to the wooden box. A very interesting photo. Her serious expression might be saying get away from me Mr Laurent photographer!!!!

les fameuses fleurs qui servent d'offrandes aux temples, j'ai ete etonne de voir un tel commerce dans les marches, ca s'achete au kilo, et qu'est ce que ca sent bon...huummmmm...et c'est bien colore
Une image sympa, dommage qu'elle ne rentre pas en entiere dans ton cadrage.

Excellent and 100% "Indian" photo, Laurent! The composition and the colours are just great. The expresion of the lady shows an original photo (i mean not a "set up"). Maybe (?) the photo could be even better if the lady looked the other way.

Bonne photo, bien colorée avec un belle lumière. Si l'arrière plan avait été flouté, cela aurait été parfait. Mais la photo est très bien composée, la fleuriste est bien placée. Excellente netteté.

Salut Laurent. A nice contextual portrait of the garland vendor, well shown as she is surrounded by her colorful merchandise. I like the warming glow that the early-evening sunlight casts on this one.

This is nice shot all to gether.

Old woman working hard for survival.
Generally thier day start very early morning.
From buying flowers from vendor & to make them attractive with great hadnwork.

Those people generally seat for hours & hours on same place to make garlends.

Really nice captured.
