[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Chittia Kondh is a subdivision of the Kondh tribe, one of the most important tribes not only in Orissa but in India. The name Chitia means Tatoo, and they were famous during the British Raj for their human sacrifices called "meriah", actually they use buffalos and goats for the sacrifices and do not seem to be so feroucious as they use to be. They live in the southern part of Orissa in small hamlets lost in the mountains.

I like it alot... It is a little smoky, and the flash made that 'flash-shadow' and between the 2 conditions, it makes me wish the color were better... Still I love the hiding smile, the red of his clothing. And you know it is India for the ubiquitous metal pot behind him :)
