[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Jal Mahal is a small palace built amidst a lake in the outskirts of Jaipur, on the road to the more famous Amber Fort. The palace was intended as the summer resort for the royal family and is famous for its royal duck shooting parties. Built in 1799, is now abandoned and off the beaten track due to its inaccessibility: there are not boats available at the lake to be hired. However, the view from the shore is simply breathtaking, particularly at sunrise (for a broader view of the lake, the palace and its position see my other posting of this building at dusk).

I tried to photo this palace three times in different times of the day but no luck. Yours is really nice. Reflection, pink light on the Jal Mahal. Well done!

Beautiful shot!. The light is very warm and the shapes of the building are excelent. The reflection is charming too. Very good work

Hi Jorge,
It's a nice shot with great light and toning! It looks like a magic instant. I think that it's slightly tilted to the right.
cheers, Nicolas

Hi, Jorge!
What a wonderful photo! Excellent light and sharp focus. Please tell us about this brownish-golden sky - how did you do it, because it is a great part of the atraction:)
I've tried to reconstruct the starting point of your pp in a workshop...

I think you've zoomed in way too much. There is no context here... neither much in the way of reflections in the water or any kind of background to relate to. I do agree though that you've captured a great ambience. I can almost see some Indian princess leaning on the balcony, watching the sun set over the hills...

Hello,
Superb shot. I like especialy the warm lighting.
Well done.
Regards.
