Wow. What a great contrast between the simply background with neutral tones/the meditating man and that "sign". I also like the symbolism in those steps behind the man. Great framing.
Very-very well done.
I wonder what that text is in English...

Good shot. I like the dual subjects (sign and man) and your colors and sharpness all seem good too. I keep looking at this shot and wondering if it is tilted. I think it may be, but it doesn't detract for me at all. Maybe it is a little strange, but for me, I also like that this guy does not appear to be a local. I think it shows the allure of Varanasi, of which I have heard a number of things, but never visited.

Great shot. And I wonder what is written on the wall, too.
Regarding composition I have only one wish - that this guy was sitting a bit further to the left, so that a diagonal was formed.

I thought he looked European from the thumbnail. Good light in the shot, and it's interesting. I suppose the sign says: "Om in the name of Siva"?

The total meditiation picture! Very very well done! I like the meditator of course, he is well caught, but also the worn decoration under him and the modern bright sign so much in the wrong place. Can you read it, it would be fun to know the meaning. I put a pound on "Cables, no anchoring".

very interesting image . I like it a lot, the framing you did is absolutly gorgeous. I suppose you were on a boat on the river. I only wish to go back to Varanasi, I didn't stay long enough there.

waouh. both a funny and great shot IMO. It does work great... Nice to see a westener yoga too...the compo and the crop you did is excellent, as well as the sharp focus and DOF§ bravo
