Photographer’s Note
On our way from Jodpur to Pushkar we came across a "field" where the local ladies where drying the peppers. We could not get very close, so I had to use the zoomlens instead.

I have seen this too. Very colourful. Your image is well balanced though I'd like a little more of the picture at the bottom.

your shot reminds me of a famous and classic Hindi movie, Mirch Masala, based on the lives of these people in Rajasthan. "Mirchi"=chilli, "Masala"=spice

amazing shot Etienne.
oh toomush peppers.i think indians like peppers a lot ?
i like the composition.
having the women looking at oposite direction made it great.
the contrast between the red (pepper) and blue is impressive.
if i was you i would take the shot at a little more Altitude so the pepper in background wil fill the whole frame.
well done
