Photographer's Note

****

Sâdhus, beggars of the gods attract our glance.
They are of all kinds.
Men naked or equipped with ashes.
Men coloured with the pace of dandies.
One looks them as with the spectacle, and one gives them alms.
Sâdhus live for the divinities but like also their image.
Then they are photographed and they are made happy. Narcissistic and divine.

I return from India. I had never gone there before. Incontestably, it is a shock.
It is a large capharnaüm of colors and odors.
Thank you with those which had inspired me.
Thank you in particular to Clodreno which draws its reverence (???, I do not believe in it!) and I would never forget his regard.
