... And then we reached Bedni Bugyal.
Shepherd come from far-off places and graze their sheep here and at another place called Ali Bugyal, which you can see in the background.
A Bugyal stands for a high altitude meadow in the local dialect. Bedni is at an altitude of around 3500 mts and commands an awesome view of the Himalayan Ranges.

an unusual view of India...
I like the soft light and the sheep in the foreground, and a beautiful green landscape in the back. sheep must be very happy here.

Hi Amol,
Great place to wonder and graze. The sheep and at least one goat make anteresting foreground. This colour version is more informative, giving a better idea about the vegetation in this area.
