Photographer’s Note
Having visited Phugtal Gompa in the morning we walked on to the village of Testa where we camped for the night. Most trekking groups walk straight through this village on the way to Purne or Kargiyak so the local kids found us very interesting.
The twelve year old girl in the picture was babysitting her 6 month old brother while their parents were picking peas in the fields.
