Mumbai slums reality. Lots of trash, small, crammed houses, reign of improvisation, utilization of everything that comes under hand. And people, kids especially, who in some miraculous way can retain their curiosity and desire for life, living in conditions that for most of westerners would be synonim of hell.

Very good title for a very good photo Antoni. You´ve chosen the right composition to achieve the message, I think I could undersand it even with no note at all (although I like it too).

Hello Antoni,

Sorry I discovered your gallery lately in TE, Such an excellent collection, I love "Monk is also a human", "Don't look back now!" "To the future", "A little mechanic" and most of the picture you took in India.
This is very complex composition, and I like the happy face of the boy in a relatively struggling life. Excellent reality of the Mumbai Slum area, I think you will love this-http://www.macalester.edu/courses/geog61/espencer/slums.html

Hello Antoni,
I have the highest respect for what you are doing here - love, absolutely LOVE your title. So I'm with you here and approve very much. My main suggestion would be "go with B/W". Think "Sohrab" and what he would do with this scene. It's just an idea and I could be wrong of course...
I've included a very rough (no PS available at work) WS to see how it might look in BW.
All the best,
Francis

"living in conditions that for most of westerners would be synonim of hell."...
