Again cricket match in Mumbai slums.
Maybe because I'm completely ignorant of this game I found it so fascinating... I even saw the movie ("Lagaan") where it was the main subject but there are still big areas of rules are completely unclear for me.

:) same for me..maybe cricket is not very European..
I like the light and compo..and this looks like an impossible place to play cricket with the Y shaped canal on the floor and all those sticks in distance..

Hello Antoni,
I loved this shot as a thumbnail but curiously I like it less full size... The position of the chap in the foreground is good and the intersecting lines on the ground work well but the forest of sticks hurts both your compo and comprehension which is a shame because, the light is beautiful and there is great potential here.
Knowing cricket as I do, the real "action" is on the other side of the sticks between the "bowler" and the "batsman". You needed to position yourself behind the batsman looking out at the oncoming bowler, achieving a kind of Luko "coconut thrower" excitement.
Please excuse my frankness - I do like the "feel" and the situation very much.
Best,
Francis

Dynamiczne, pełne szczegółów. Sporo jest na tym zdjęciu, ale jest to uporządkowane i ciekawe.

Hi Antoni
Beautiful point of view on these playing guys! I like how the one in the forground is standing and waiting for the ball. I spent many hour a few weeks ago to look at people playing cricket in the streets and beaches on India. I love it!!
