I was in Jaisalmer in june last year where it was soooo hot (very wrong time of the year)....so during the day time I was just sitting....observing.....and one day I met this guy.

Well I must say you have caught alot of detail by zooming in so close. I know a little Punjabi myself. Well only a little bit. And where I work the East Indians always wear theri turbans too.

Hi Tina, the people in India are perfect portrait subjects:-) You can't pass by a portrait like it- excellent colours, clarity, wonderful light, and i like your crpping too.

Tina, very good portrait. I like this "orange" face with this impressive look in his eyes. You managed to control very well the light. There is a little sort of window in the back appearing near his eyes which disturb a little the picture because it is near his eyes. Maybe you should remove it. Congratulation anyway :-))
