Photographer’s Note
Madurai..Flower Market... What a busy place!! People and flowers at every direction you turn... Roses, jasmine and many others.. Flowers play an important role in Tamil's (and Hindu's) life.. Prayers and almost every big event in life is accompanied by flowers...
And the women just love having it attached in their hair for the lovely smell...
Here you see a buyer getting his purchase weighed and put into his bag...
p/s if you want go there it seems like the time around noon is the busiest period when the flowers arive from the surrounding villages.. therefore giving a lot opportunities..

Interesting busy situation, cool way to break the rules too.

Salut Bala.

What Bala?.. Enna Madurai malligai aah?...
Vaasam thookuthu.... ;)
Nice close-up on action... Off late you are big on action shots looks like...
Good one too, except for lot of shakes in foreground.Still looking at "Malligai" in your frame & the neat crop makes it an eye catcher.
Thanks,
Prem.

Pleasant to see this back and fine how you tackled the contrasting light with outside avoiding it by your angle, all spot on the jasmine and the trading in movement blur as indeed inside it is rather dark, well found solution.
Rather a messy place, all wet, even the stairs.

Salut Bala!
Congratulations on a truly lovely, dynamic shot; beyond the exciting blur there is a solid composition here. I like the way Gal puts it "cet effet decoulant" of the long exposure, that's perfect.

Hello Bala,
Amicalement, Brigitte

Bala,
Since I visited your site last you have posted a serious of fabulous photos. I begin with this one. Absolutely marvelous shot, minimalist and effective in showing the motions of the busy shopkeeper and his customer. Excellent choice of angle.

Olá Bala, excellent close up of this flower scene. Last month, I learned the importance of the flowers in Hindu's life. I like the motion of the movement here.
