Photographer’s Note
When we went outside in Bikaner we saw this little "Salon" of a hairdresser - on the street, no door, no window, everybody can look and talk to them.
For me, coming from Germany, this is so unusual - but I liked it. I think, for them it also was unusual that tourists were looking and making fotos.
I hope you also like it like I did.
Have a nice day.

Hi Sabine!! I like this shot, the charachters and so many everyday life details! The portrait, the flowers on the green chair, very interesting and well described. I also have some hairdresser among my India photos: sometimes they are not even in a stall, but almost on the ground
Ciao! Livia

I like these typical street scenes, when you are there you take them all for granted. Here apart from all the details in the shop, I like all the eyes, the guy on the left looking at the guy beign cut, the barber looking at you, the poster in the vitrine gazing out, the only eyes we cannot see are those of the man being cut.
I think I may have cropped the left hand side somewhat.

I love so much this daily life scene.
Street activities might be something western missed the most.
Thanks
Al.
