Some story - sorry for my english ;)
I was wandering around Jaisalmer in the morning time (morning time - in Asia the best time to take photos - of course the light but also other thing - people are busy at that time of the day). I think she was putting the tar between the door to protect interior against dust (Jaisalmer is a city on the desert) - I just stopped for a second I made a composition and suddenly she noticed my presence... I just took a shot, said thank you and ... I showed a photo to her (on the camera's screen) - she smiled and I left. Maybe i will sound I am not a polite person - but I never ask people before I take a photo... I don't want to loosa a moment....

Hi Bart!
The dark toned colors fit very good the atmosphere in your compo.
Seeing this I thought of a closer cropping.

Ok. last one for today. This photo is absolutely amazing. The expression of the woman. Her thick glasses. The lighting and composition. Her pose. The dirt and grime. All of it is fantastic. Easily one of my favorites on this site. Great job! I am glad I found your gallery. JP

The lighting and composition is really superb, and her expression is also captivating. A little story with this might have been interesting, but it's a remarkable shot.

What an incredible expression. The light, the composition, all work together to create an amazing shot. I feel like there's a story here.

Awesome shot and just really confrontational. The bowed aspect helps create a circle or even a dark hole with the pitch black behind her so that with her position, she seems to almost be preparing to leap toward the camera.

whaaaaat? this is incredible, easily one of the best shots on TE. this is so mindblowing, i can't even make sense in my critique.

Very emotionally intense, Bart, really exceptional. It would add even more to know what she is reacting to, or whatever else you know of her story.

This is so cool. The colors really make the shot and her expression is just striking...it hits your right between the eyes. I don't even mind the central framing as well. Excellent image.

wow! what a great picture... it's a gem. I must say you have done a wonderful job here, great composition, nice use of muted colors, trying to get symmetry in the frame and then you have a fabulous character, though I am wondering about her darkened fingers due to some colors.

I would give you 9.9999 out of 10 on this one.
