BOREDOM or just waiting? Photo

Photographer’s Note

Waiting for his friends who have to work on a whit monday? or just bored?

i'll chose the later, but the opportunity to recall this lost bank holiday in France was too strong! haha! In fact, it was in the Likir monastery school yard . all monks were in lign waiting for their headmaster to call up the names or something of the sort. Then they all vanished around the place for 10 -15 minutes cleaning the floors, sweeping the yard and so on until a ring brought them finally into class.

I spent about 4 hours with them that day, talking to their teachers, making photos and having a delightful time. One of the highlights of my trip to ladakh for sure.

Great natural pose. Nice combination of red and green tones. I also like how the red is well balanced in the image. Beautiful background/DOF. Very well composed/framed as usual.

It's a very nice image Eic.
the composition is wonderful and the face of the young monk is simply wonderful.
the focus is very good, as the light and colors.

Nice photo. I like the natural colors (not too saturated) and particularly the combination of red and green. DOF is very good. Composition is fine but perhaps the monk could be a bit more to the right. All in all a nice picture to look at.

Le jeu des couleurs est particulierement efficace ici - ces yeux tres noirs qui ancrent le bokeh en gradation de vert d'un cote et le pourpre de la tunique de l'autre.

C'est un beau portrait, son regard est sévère dis donc !
j'aime bien ta compo avec le moine derrière et l'arrière plan verdoyant. belle profonduer de champ.
un seul regret c'est que la tonalité générale est un peu froid, un chouia de jaune et hop ça le faisait, mais si tu le dis que c'est comme ça, ok dac :-)

mais tu en as combien dans cette famille? j'aime beaucoup toute cette panoplie de jeunes moines et l'expression de celui ci est quelque peu étonnée, il se demande bien pourquoi tu t'intéresses à lui, belle netteté

J’aime particulièrement l’arrière plan mi gazon bien vert mi monk bien pourpre.
