Photographer’s Note

In the late afternoon, the fishermen paddle out in the 3 log boats to fish. They drag the catch up onto the beach, and pull each fish out of the netting, one by one. They wait and watch for the dark streaks in the water surface, that are schools of pearly silver chandi. They are used in curry or fried. About the length of my hand.
