Photographer’s Note
Today I am posting another picture of daily life scenes taken in the back streets of Varanasi. I think that it is interesting to take pictures from lower levels sometimes, and I do not mind cutting people as shown in this example, although I am aware that many critiquers will tell me that they don't feel confortable. I am dedicating this picture to two of my favorite photographers in TE, Claude Renault and Maciej Dakovicz.

nice take. the standing person renders colors to this photo. i don't see anything artificial (if you have pointed to that in your note?) in this shot. the cobbler was working and looked at you while you took the shot, thats it!
i appreciate the POV and the details you capture in the frame of his small temporary street shop.

Very nice photo. I like the way you caputred the legs of the man, as it gives you a feeling for the man's point of view. Well done. Daniel

I appreciate this type of cosiness in a street. Very alive scene. The man cut into two obliges to focus the glance on the working young man .Very well composition.

I don't mind the man being cut as the main interest is the repairman, and he's looking at you ! good colors, interesting daily life scene.

Well Izet, this picture is about a shoe repair, so i can be wrong, but it makes all the sense that you cut the stanting man as you did. I don't like the look of the man fixing the shoe though... somehow don't seem natural to me, but i like the compo, the theme, the colours and sharpness.
Great work,
Mário

Izzet,
I love this photo. The eye contact was great, so is the framing with this face-less man in sharp color. Most interesting part of the story is this side road through which a wonderous glow of light seems to come. Very nostalgic mood here for me.
