Photographer's Note
Chattisgarh, and Bastar especially, is home to very distinct, ancient tribes.
This is woman from Halbaa tribe, in a village near Kondagaon in Bastar. Those people live from collecting fruits and other forest goods and from some ironworking (there's a lot of easily accessible iron ore in Bastar).

Nice shot, interesting subjects. However, I don't care for the crop at the top of her head, nor for the headless woman in the background. Maybe a wider angle from a lower vantage point would have worked? Very nice colors and exposure.

Excellent, I love the way we can see all the stuff in her basket.
It would be even better if we could see the rest of her feet.

I have to really beware of critiques with these marginal internet-cafe monitors Antoni, but the image looks a little dark. Still a nice keeper.

Nice composition and good colours, the pose of the woman and her expressions are very nice.
