Thar Desert or Great Indian Desert, extensive region of sandy desert in northwestern India and eastern Pakistan.
The largest part of the desert is located in Rajasthan State. The Thar Desert is about 805 km long and about 485 km wide. The terrain consists mainly of rolling sandhills, among which are found scattered growths of shrub and rock outcroppings.Rainfall is sparse, averaging from 127 to 254 mm annually, and temperatures rise as high as 52.8° C (127° F) in July. The small population is mostly pastoral, and hide and wool industries are prominent.
Camel Safari is one of the unique way to explore small villages, exciting and soft adventure. It is a great experience to explore The Thar.

Silhouettes don't come more perfect than this. Even the flurry of sand from the leaders foot.. sublime!
Positioning on the lighting as well is just so perfect.

Of course it's a "classic desert shot" - :o) - but you should be congratulated to have succeeded so well Oscar!

Everything works here. The perfect outlined silhouette, the attitude of the people (and the animal!), the tones & colours, the clever lighting...
Just maybe you could have cropped a bit tighter on the right to emphasize the feeling that they just were entering your image?

Very nice work! The silhouettes contrast wonderfully with the orange sky. I like how the orange radiates from the sun, which is still a golden yellow in this photo.

Superb silhouette! The colors are very, very captivating and the placement of the brightest area in the sky well managed. Maybe I would like to see a bit more space to the left to enhance the feeling of advance but this is a minor detail.

Oscar, this is a truly fantastic shot!

I can only guess how many shots it must have taken to get this one... (only speaking from my own personal experience).
I'd love the opportunity to visit this place some day...
Noramally I do not bother a workshop with such a seemingly perfect shot, but in this case I did. My changes are noted on the workshop...
