The Ametikallu Peak of the Charmadi Range in the Western-Ghats, is one of the toughest and steepest hike of Karnataka. The picture here gives a glimpse of the angle of steepness near its summit. Also, Ametikallu Peak is the highest mountain in the Charmadi Range. Its surroundings comprise of other peaks - Yethina Bhuja, Shingani Gudda, Ombathu Gudda(The Nine Hills), Jenukallu, Balekallu and Minchukallu. Ametikallu (locally Amedikkel) is a rocky mountain that takes the shape of the back of a Tortoise, with a huge stone-stove in front ('Ame' - Tortoise, 'Dikkel' - Stove)
My cousins and I pose from a risky position on the mountain.

The diagonal clearly shows the steepness of the peak and the "lack of sky" emphasises this - well composed.

Your picture is very nice taken, with the family on the slope on the mountain.
Your colours and subject are very well chosen.
An excellent composition, nice choice of your angle, this cares for depth and perspective.
Very well done, TFS.
