Photographer's Note

I am unable to get out of Poorna market, Vizag, and its many vivid colours.
The Amma (lady, more specifically: mother/grandmother/female relative) didn’t actually pose for me but urged me to buy her wonderful bananas of the “Amrita Pani” variety.
“Amrita” is a Sanskrit word that is equivalent to the Greek “Ambrosia” and often referred to in dictionaries as nectar or the drink which confers immortality upon the gods. “Pani” of course is Water.

(However, my internet search brought me back to mundane reality and revealed “Amrita Pani” to be an organic pesticide made out of Cow Urine, Neem Leaf, Gram Flour and Jaggery. So these were probably “organic” fruits.)
