This is the famous HaldiGhati (turmeric valley) of Rajasthan where the famous battle was fought on 18th June 1576 between Maharana Pratap of Mewar & the army of Mughal Emperor Akbar lead by it’s general King Maan Singh. This place is 40 km from Udaipur.
The colour of the hills if yellow & looks like turmeric that is why the name of the valley is Haldighati.
The valley is also famous for its Rose production.
