At the end of our trip in himachal,we had a visit in a shwal factory on the way from kullu to shimla. There are so many factories in this way up to Aut Tunnel.
Mostly the drivers have some connections with these outlets for a certain very little amount of commissions on tourist's purchase of there goods. It does not matter so much if you get a quality product.
This is such a outlet cum factory, where in the ground floor there are some weaving machines with weavers doing their jobs. This is also a technique of attracting the tourists.Yet it is interesting to me to see the process as i never seen it before.
The weaving machine is typically a wooden cage where inside the artist have to enter himself to operate the machine.I tried a lot to get rid of the bars and get a clear shot. But there were no way out.
In this picture the man's hand was so moving fast as compared to the high speed needle loom.I thought if it gets a motion blur, the atmosphere would be more original. What do you think?
Have a nice weekend.

Usually we don't find portraits from you. This is a wonderful shot with the man in work.
Very good colors and clarity. An informative note too.
Very well done.

Nice attempt to capture this man busy in his trade. It has produced the desired effect. I feel the bars are not much of a problem. Thanks for sharing.
