“Utey-Tarey” means “Call and bring together “ in local Limboo language. It is believed that the name Uttare (or Uttarey) has been derived from these terms.
The beauty of the place can really call nature lovers to come here and enjoy the scenic beauty.

Dear Alekhya, I appreciate your comment, what it means veer? Deep and large view of that valley in October so after mansoon season, beautiful greenery, "terrace" culture and splendid valley, a brillant picture, so perfect it looks like a little Switzerland alps, best wishes

This is something different and fresh from your gallery.
yes............this is impressive and confirms that you are not a novice with the camera.
I can see lemon green, sap green, light green, dark green........ variety of green tones.
What attracts me here is the importance given to the minor details as well as to the bigger points.
Love the inclusion of the bushes on the left side.....these are point of interests.....and if choose wisely uplift the image instantly.
The clouds whisper that you can do better and more better.
Well done dear,

another nice one from the wild Sikkim. Yes, in my view, Sikkim has a wild beauty. Your composition is superb with the little valley in middle with those flakes of clouds there. Nice light and excellent colours. Superb shot. Tfs.

Looking at his i feel there's something not right about the colour rendition as it doesnt show the true - most representative colours although i can fully respect your personal preference. You have good enough landscape and eye catching too, but honestly, the greenish tinge appears overpowering on which i am sure can be corrected easily in pp. This is my sincere neg critique, Tfs, Congrats.

Wow! Impressive photo of the valley, fine depth of view. Just a paint picture. Although I always say the nature is the best artist. We have to press a camera button )))
Best wishes from Russia!

Your title reminds me of the title I gave to one of my photos, "How Green Was My Valley." Only, your valley is greener than mine. The clouds on those mountains are enchanting.
