Face by the banks of Ganges.
Its been ages I took a portrait which I had been doing very often. Just a bit nostalgic after seeing this pic.

Very nice b&w portrait. Nice light management which allows the viewer to see the eyes through the glasses.
TFS and have a nice weekend

Hi Tushar, very interesting portrait.. We are also able to see the photographer and a little some idea about the surroundings through his eye glasses together with the light on his own eyes. Wonderful shot, congrats.

hi Tushar, nice to see your shot in TE again. Nice portrait from my MOP. I like most here the attractive popping up mood of this elder person... He is, as if just entered his face through a black canvas. Enjoyable. Tfs, pls share your shots here if times permit.
Greetings to Dallas from India.

Wonderful capture and format. The face almost seems to pop out of the screen. Very well done Tushar!

Glad to see another posting from you. And a monochrome classic what's more. Great, gritty portrait; I'm guessing there's some editing gone on here to minimise all irrelevancies, like neck and shoulders, background and so on. The glasses make it for me!

What a striking portrait. Enigmatic, detailed lines of wisdom , contrasts bring these details out perfectly.

This is a powerful portrait, made more powerful by the B&W format and the black background. I like the reflections in the man's glasses, perhaps the only touch of the (relatively) modern in an otherwise timeless setting.
