From my archives. I took this photo of these girls in Srinagar, Kashmir in 1980. We were visiting a craftsman in the back canals of the Kashmiri capital and these girls were curiously & happily leaning out of the window - a great shot. It is rather sobering to realise that they would all now be aged over 40.
The original photo was taken on Kodakchrome using a Pentax K-1000 camera. Picture is now digitised. Hope you find this image from the past interesting.

I spotted this form the thumbnail and thought is had something...not only a nice portrait, but the vintage of this, film really does hold up better still. The colours and details are rich.

The girls are just as cute more than 30 years later. I wonder what happened to them in all those years. I appreciate that you have scanned this charming old picture and show it to us. The sharpness is quite good for a scan and it seems to have kept the original colours very well. The typical details of a Srinagar house are part of the charm.

An oldie, but worth the ressucitation. Scan quality is OK as well. Time flies and sometimes it stands still. Great picture. Thanks for sharing it.
