Another photo from Cochin carnival. This is the time of merry making and the entire place gets filled with colors and the joyous laughter of the people. All participate in the feast that is held every year in the last week in Fort Kochi, Kerala. The Cochin Carnival brings along a mood of joyous togetherness and the carnival seems to be the best way to end the year.

A lovely image, beautiful traditional dress. The image (at least on my screen) is a little dark. I probably would have brightened it and increased the contrast. Good framing, a difficult shot, with a successful result.
