Photographer's Note
If you like the rows of beautiful arches, then India is a delight. In Jaipur which is called the Pink City, the City Palace is also pink.
City Palace was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The Chandra Mahal palace now houses a museum but the greatest part of it is still a royal residence. The palace complex, which is located northeast of the centre of the grid patterned Jaipur city, incorporates an impressive and vast array of courtyards, gardens and buildings. The palace was built between 1729 and 1732, initially by Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber.
Diwan-I-Khas (on the photo) was a private audience hall of the Maharajas, a marble floored chamber. There are two huge sterling silver vessels of capacity of 4000 litres and weighing 340 kilograms (750 lb), on display here. They were made from 14000 melted silver coins without soldering. They are officially recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest sterling silver vessels. These vessels were specially made by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II, who was a highly pious Hindu, to carry the water of the Ganges to drink on his trip to England in 1901 (for Edward VII's coronation) as he was finicky about committing religious sin by consuming the English water. There are a number of crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling (normally covered with plastic sheets to prevent dust collection), which are uncovered on special occasions.

Hello Malgo,
A very richly decorated interior of this palace!
The golden and the red tones go wonderful together.
I also love the repetition of the columns and arches.
Best regards, Paul

ciao Malgorzata,

Hello Malgorzata. What a great palace. The architectural and artistic design is at its best. Here tourists get insight into the history and culture of a country. Well seen and presented, very informative text. Rgds wolfgang.

Hi Malgo,
This is a very impressive photograph of a very impressive place. And it looks to me as though they have removed the dust covers from the chandeliers for that very special occasion - your visit!
An excellent symmetrical composition but with another tourist in the foreground nicely adding a bit of human interest and also giving a sense of scale. Gorgeous colours and excellent detail and sharpness.
I guess the tourist is wearing headphones so that he can listen to a commentary and learn about this place as he walks around.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.
P.S. Have a Lovely Easter!

Missed this one although I did try to critique it earlier but kept getting booted out of TE whenever I did try. I followed the critiques received links instead & finally managed to get in! Good sharpness with attractive warm colors of red & orange and the man at left adds scale. I don't think I have ever taken a self guiding tour. I prefer to read up in a guidebook or internet beforehand then have some idea what I want to see. Sometimes I am too lazy & just go without any research & if something I like is interesting I look it up later. Tfs!

Dear Malgo
I might have wanted this picture without the tourist in the frame. Lovely repetition of arches & a fine perspective in pink rendered here. The ornamental details are well rendered
Best Regards
Angshu
