Amer Fort is located in Amer, 11 km north of Jaipur in Rajasthan, India. It is one of the principal tourist attractions in the Jaipur area, constructed on a high hill. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements. The fort with its large ramparts, series of gates and cobbled paths, overlooks the Maota Lake, Amer Town and surrounding hills, as shown in this picture. Around 5000 people pay visit to Amer Fort & Place every day.
