... and The Journey Begins ~
Got this frame in our recent short trip to Gopalpur-On-Sea, Chandipur and other places... This shot was captured just after some times of the departure of our train from Howrah station (world's busiest railway station). Found this frame interesting with its dark silhouettes... With the side profiles of these passengers... With the backlight... With the passing train seen through the windows... With those childrens enjoying their trip beside windows...
Here is it in your monitor... Hope you'll like it.

mi piace il contrasto di luce chehai creato tra la zona all'interno e quella all'esterno del treno.
Scena che riporta bene l'atmosfera dei viaggi in treno con i ragazzini sempre sorridenti,

You have managed the light very well to produce an attractive atmospheric composition. I like the the play of light across the table and the protagonists. Good sharpness.

I am liking the direction you take on this shot, the light and shadows are all there, like the Dutch/Flemish masters of painting, you use available light to good effect, I like this style, a story told in pure light and shadows and skillfully done.

is a strong cross-light, with the persons placed in the area of semidarkness, in a dark image but with a very well balanced exposure.
It gives a great power at this dynamics scene, very vital and familiar.
I like the structure of the composition, and the technical accomplishment.
A nice work, my friend.

This brings back the memories of 1950s when it was fun to travel from Bangalore to Bombay by train. Like the way you have managed this shot with a little bit of light hitting the table. I like the mood here.

As you ask for my advice, I will tell you why I don't like your picture.
The subject are the persons in the train, but they are too dark (your meter has read the background), and the train seen through the windows is stopped and too sharp. I am trying to improve your picture in a WS to show you my vision.

I liked this shot a lot. Difficult picture to take with the strong exposure contrast. Really well handled here. The partial silhouettes of the people with the light falling from the side works very well.
In terms of light management, perhaps one of your best pictures
