Photographer's Note
In Rajgir, in Bihar, the Griddhakuta or Vulture's Peak is one of the most sacred places of Buddhist pilgrimage. The Buddha lived in a cave here for many years and delivered many of his most famous lessons (sutta) from here. Today pilgrims come from all over the world to visit this mountain. In 1988 a Japanese Buddhist sect built this pagoda, the Vishwe Shanti Stupa on one of the peaks, overlooking the Buddha’s cave. This sect builds such Pagodas in many places in the world in the name of universal peace. Many pilgrims stop off at this pagoda on the way to the Buddha’s cave on the Vulture’s peak

Hi kevin. India. It is a wonderful country for travelers. Religion, culture, architecture - all in this exotic country is something special. Your photo is a good example. Very beautiful light and colors. The people in front of the pagoda give the scene life and expression. Rgds wolfgang.

Hi Kevin!
At first I thought it was in Sri Lanka. So different from the other temples I saw in India. A very good pov and composition with those people around.
