Chilika Lake early in the morning.
1 Don't think I have heavily post-processed this picture. Normally for Sunrise/Sunset pictures I put the white Balance to “Daylight” or I shoot Raw. I forgot to do this that morning. The end-result was a picture with a pink colorcast which I correct via “levels” in Photoshop.
2 The picture can be tighter cropped but then you cut a large part of wooden beam that lays across the boat. Depends on your likes.

thats fine one.
I dont like that bar on the boat which going out of frame.
Instead of that it is beautiful shot with good composition.
I like those outlines.

I like the composition and the body language of the boatman.

I really like the monochromatic look in your photo Alfred and the silhouettes created by the poor light. The man's gesture invites the viewer to "interpret" the meaning.

I'm impressed by the contrast between center elements (man and boat) and the blue-grey hue of the background which works to make the man stand out strongly in the image, the clarity of detailing of the foreground, and the dynamics of the man's position.

Personally I think that the image gets more balance without the bar, but in fact it was there so it doesn't affect me much. I still like the composition, with a good placement of the boat and the action brought by the mans pose.
Considering the almost lack of colors in this one I think a pure BW version or a duotone could work very well.

When I first looked at this I thought it was B&W. Very nice (natural?) desaturation of colors which adds tremendously to the image. Thi intersection of diagonals created by the man's arm and the vegetation in the lake create a very nice dynamic in the empty space created by the still water. All around a very excellent image!

Fantastico efeito da diferença de luminosidade, o segundo plano subexposto gerou as otimas silhuetas e conservou os detalhes do primeiro plano. Vai para meus favortes.
