Photographer’s Note

This rather humourous artefact in bronze originates from the Indus-Saraswati Civilization of the Indian sub-continent - circa 2000 - 1500 BCE. There is a delicacy in form and a subtlety in the subject matter, which again relates to transport. This is from the Harappa Gallery in the National Museum, New Delhi.
