Photographer’s Note

In the eve of Durga Puja ( a traditional and biggest festival of Bengali ) the little girl is looking the Puja Pandal ( temporary temple made by wood and cloths ) with a lot of immature curiosity. This atmosphere for a few seconds pull me back towards my childhood. I took this reflected atmosphere through her sunglass. The appeal attracted me to take this shot. Now I am sharing it with you. Hope you like it.

Hello Subhendu,
An unusual and interesting portrait of this little girl. I like the close framing and downwards point of view; whilst the reflection in her sunglasses shows us what she is so intent on. Very good colours and sharpness.

Lovely picture with a great reflection in the sun glasses. I think I should have chosen a little more close up to focus more on the reflection like I did in a workshop.

I have seen this done before, but it is the subject of the reflection that makes this different. Amazing that so muchh work goes into making these temples and then they are destroyed. She looks like a cute little girl! :)
