One who sacrifices his wealth,body and mind completely through a life of penance and devotion,to attain higher order spiritual awareness - is a Yogi. Fun & Shortcuts are not there way of life.

Most true yogis are rarely moved by usual emotions that we lesser mortals succumb to.

Hold on...in Rishikesh (upper India) which is a spiritual abode of yogis from across the world, I saw a bunch of yogis in a rare playful mood.So much so, I caught one taking a playful shortcut.It was very nice to see that. I realised he may have given up everything in life but there is still a bit of child left in him, which sometimes makes him be on air.

As I always tell that good Photography is just a method of capturing moments...Really I haven't seen till now any YOGI in a playful mood and your snap was taken brilliantly. The postures reveals that they are in a playful mood.

Touching bit of playfulness caught at just the right moment. Everyone likes to get their toes in the sand, and I feel a kinship with someone doing just that. Lovely. Judy

Is this a popular Indian name for male or female? I am very curious because it sounds a bit Japanese :)

It is fun to read your note about this photo and although I find the color tone a bit of yellowish, the scene is very interesting to go with your story. A good candid shot.

All dressed in orange but one in white and another in white shorts? Curious!
