What a beautiful scene with a great variety of colors. I just miss a small explanation, what are these pieces of clothes ? Why is the monk praying here...

A painter couldn't have done a better job putting in the variety and balance of bright colors. The slight sunbeam on the monk's face and shoulder add a nice touch. Great POV, as the photo makes us feel like we're praying along with him just in back of him.

This is a beautiful composition. The multicoloured Tibetan prayer flags and the monk create a wonderful balance.
