Photographer’s Note
Statuettes from Hoysaleswara temple at Halebid - representing figures and stories from Indian mythology.
Most of the statuettes were destroyed during invasion by Malik Kafur during 14th century and neglects by state authorities. It is only very recently that ASI (Archeological Survey of India)took steps to restore the lost glory.
History has often been judged and studied wrongly!
