Photographer’s Note
The subsidiary shrine on the southwest corner of the terrace, facing north, is dedicated to the goddess Durga. The shrine on the northwest corner no longer exists, and in none of the shrines is the cult-image present. On the pedestal of this devakulika, a warrior is portrayed. The photograph looks to the west, and toward the Vishnu Temple, in the midday sun.
